Local news, written for the people who live there.
Postrunner Media publishes city news editions. Each one covers a single city: council decisions, planning and permits, road closures, weather alerts, city notices and new businesses. Free to read, no paywall.

Each edition carries its city's name and covers that city only, on the web and by email newsletter.

Further editions open one city at a time. If you would like to hear when your city is next, send us a note.
Our standards
We report from primary sources: council agendas and minutes, city notices, permit records and official alerts. Every article links to the document it came from, and every figure, date and name is checked before it publishes.
- We name public officials acting in their public roles. We do not publish the names of private individuals, permit applicants or complainants.
- We do not run press releases as news, and we do not accept payment for coverage. Sponsored placements are labeled.
- Corrections are published on the article and noted in the next newsletter. Email [email protected] with the article link and what is wrong.
For local businesses
Our readers are the residents of one city, reached in their inbox and on the web. Advertising is sold directly at flat monthly prices. No agencies, no bidding.
Founding Partner
A limited group of local businesses backing the launch of an edition, with a standing presence in the newsletter and on the site at a rate locked for 12 months.
Category sponsorship
One business per category, such as home services, real estate, dental or auto, as the exclusive sponsor of that section.
Featured events and listings
Promote an event, a job opening or an offer for a flat fee. Paid online, live within one business day.
Rates and availability by edition: [email protected].
Ownership
Postrunner Media is a fictitious business name of Oxford Hills LLC, a California company based in Santa Ana. It is independently owned, with no outside investors, and no public official, political campaign or developer holds any interest in the company.
Each edition names its editor on its own site. If an edition covers a matter in which the company or its owner has an interest, the article will say so.

Terms of service
Effective October 11, 2026
Postrunner Media (Oxford Hills LLC, "we") publishes news websites and email newsletters ("the Service"). By reading the Service or buying advertising from us, you agree to these terms.
Content
We work from official documents and check our articles before publishing, but we do not guarantee that every item is complete or error-free. Always confirm dates, deadlines and requirements with the city or agency that issued them. Links to source documents are provided for that purpose.
Advertising purchases
Advertising is sold at the prices shown at the time of purchase and billed by card. Monthly plans renew automatically until cancelled. Founding Partner plans run for an initial 12-month term at the locked founding rate, and the first charge is made when the edition sends its first newsletter rather than at sign-up. You may cancel a monthly plan at any time from the link in your receipt or by email; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Advertising standards
We may decline or remove any advertisement that is misleading, unlawful, or inconsistent with the editorial independence of the Service, and will refund any unused portion in that case. Advertisers are responsible for the accuracy of their own content.
Use of the Service
You may share links to our articles freely. You may not republish full articles, scrape the Service, or use it to send unsolicited messages. The Service is provided as is, and our liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding three months.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Questions: [email protected].
Privacy policy
Effective October 11, 2026
We collect your email address when you subscribe to a newsletter, and your name, business details and payment information when you buy advertising. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
We use this information to send the newsletters you asked for, to run and bill your advertising, and to measure how the Service is used (opens, clicks and page views through our newsletter and analytics providers). We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers that run the Service (email delivery, payments, hosting and analytics).
Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link. To see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, email [email protected]. California residents have the rights described in the California Consumer Privacy Act and may exercise them at the same address.
Refund policy
One-time purchases (featured events, listings, job posts) are refundable in full if you cancel before the item publishes; once published, they are not refundable. Monthly advertising plans are not refunded for partial months, but you can cancel at any time and will not be charged again. If we fail to publish an edition for 14 consecutive days, affected advertisers receive a pro-rated refund for the days missed. Refunds go back to the original card within 10 business days. Email [email protected] with your receipt.
